Kamal is the CEO of Integrated Health and Wellbeing (IHW) Council, a New Delhi-based premier institution for Health Awareness, Advocacy & Behavior Change. He is a passionate health wholistic health promoter who brings together approximately two decades of professional experience of working as a journalist and a health communicator. Kamal worked in India’s leading media houses including Hindustan Times, Financial Chronicle, United News of India (UNI) and Press Trust of India (PTI) where he reported the dismal reach of healthcare among Indians. After setting up India’s only super-specialized communication agency for health industry Teamwork Communications Group in 2009, Kamal founded IHW Council, a social impact initiative that advocates for holistic health for all that comes as an outcome of Good Air, Good Water, Good Food and Good Medicines for all. Kamal is also widely published & quoted by the Indian media for his insights related to public health and wellbeing, health communication and role of effective multi-stakeholder engagement across several industries.
