Categories are defined as per the work profile of the organizations, companies and individuals. To encourage all stakeholders including the Government authorities, Non- Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Gram Panchayats, Urban Local Bodies, Wastewater& Desalination management companies, Water User Associations, Institutions, Corporate Sector and Individuals, the organizer would reward those moving the water ecosystem forward through improved operating performance, innovative technology adoption and sustainable models.
Nomination Process
Nominations for the Indian Clean Water Awards 2021 are open to the organization, PSUs, companies, institutions, schools and other industries & sectors contribution in drinking and clean water conservation. Any designated person (on behalf of a company) can nominate a company, project, plant, technology, deal or initiative to be recognized by the IHW Council of India. Companies can nominate in multiple categories as well. Individuals can submit nominations for themselves or others. Individuals can nominate in the individual categories as they want. All nominee applications are confidential and would be used for the evaluation purpose.
Nominations can only be submitted via the online awards nomination forms. Do not submit nominations via email , they will not be acknowledged.
Evaluation Process
The company, project, or initiative must be able to demonstrate a significant contribution to the drinking and clean water industry. Specific factors to highlight are: improved operations and energy efficiency, technological innovation and the implementation of sustainable financial models. The outcomes of the project or initiative must have been reported as on 2020. Further, Steering committee would evaluate the nomination and organizer would declare winners as per the final evaluation and marking.
